2023: New Training Partnership with the Counter Terrorism Certification Board

In January 2023, Angelo Bani Director of Protective Intelligence Network, and Yaniv Peretz Director of the Counter Terrorism Certification Board (CTCB) signed a partnership agreement for the delivery of security training courses.
The CTCB is an internationally recognised Certification Body that functions as a global benchmark for personnel certification programmes in the security industry. It ensures that trained security professionals operate in a consistent, comparable, and reliable manner worldwide — allowing them to have skills that translate across geographic and strategic contexts.
Exams in certified courses are proctored by trained and certificated examiners, all of whom are qualified and experienced counter-terrorism, homeland security, and/or defense experts. Examiners work within a clearly defined environment and criteria, and are subject to extensive and detailed quality control procedures.

Counter Terrorism Practitioner (Certified - CCTP)
The CCTP certification provides demonstrable proof of knowledge, skills and experience in key areas for the purposes of mitigating the threat of terrorism, and by providing proactive measures to reduce the vulnerability of individuals and property to terrorist acts.

Counter Terrorism Behavioural Detection Practitioner
This innovative course wants to provide the participants with a general understanding of terrorism. Being terrorism a phenomenon that relates to different ideologies and it is committed using different tactics, it is considered important to offer an understanding of the concept, the different ideologies and related preferred targets, and the most common terrorist tactics applied.
When this knowledge is acquired, the course will follow offering an understanding of the different connotations in human behaviours within a criminal and terrorist context. The aim is to offer a learning experience that will permit the trainee to define, classify and recognize different behavioural clusters, repetitive patterns, psychological aspects and body language outcomes.
The course will provide the basis for applying protective human behavioural scanning and screening, therefore adding an important security layer to the security activity already in place.
The course is quite unique in Asia as it associates a critical understanding of terrorism root causes, ideologies, tactics, targets, and the way to adopt proactive postures throught behavior-led observation, and intelligent profiling, therefore proactive threat mitigation.
Counter Terrorism Investigations

Trainings organised by Protective Intelligence Network are designed to engage participants and get them working together to manage the response to a hypothetical and complex criminal event.
This course will consider an explanation of terrorism fundamentals, terrorist ideologies and tactic, and will consider investigative simulations that will enhance the knowledge of law enforcement and permit to practice and develop personal, operational and investigative skills in an international environment.

Open Source Intelligence Security Exploitation
This basic course aims to improve the collection, evaluation, collation, analysis, and distribution of information gathered in the frame of open-source intelligence activities. The learning strategy is focused to enhance the practical capacity of participants to integrate OSINT tools into their investigations. No programming skills are needed for the completion of this training activity. Upon completion of the course, the participants are expected to be able to:
- Provide a comprehensive overview on the main work processes and general OSINT techniques;
- Discuss PAI and CAI sources and explores the information available in various open source;
- Enhance the use of general SOCMINT techniques suitable for the collection of intelligence;
- Strengthen the investigative methods, analysis, and distribution of information;
- Exercise with a realistic online investigation.
